New Delhi (ABC Live): Adilabad is parliamentary constituency situated in underdeveloped Telangana part of the Andhra Pradesh.

New Delhi (ABC Live): The world’s largest democracy in numbers has witnessed a huge democratic process from 16April to 13th May, 2009.

7275 candidates contested the 15th Lok Sabha Elections for 543 Parliamentary seats, 35, 25, 51,715 voters had casted their franchisee which means around 50 percent registered had used their voting right to elect their representatives for Indian Parliament.

Adilabad is parliamentary constituency situated in underdeveloped Telangana part of the Andhra Pradesh.

The constituency is reserved for Schedule Tribe and consists of 11, 31,430 registered voters, out of these 86, 3,581 voters had cast their votes in Lok Sabha Election 2009 which clearly indicates that more that 76.3 percent voter used their voting right.

Out of Nine contesting candidates, Telgu Desham Party’s (TDP) Ramesh Rathod defeated his nearest rival Ramesh Kotnak (Indian National Congress) by margin of 1,15,087 votes.
